OTHERWISE Announce US Tour Dates with Saul and The Black Moods << ALL NEWS

Las Vegas’ notorious trouble makers OTHERWISE have announced the “DEFY DIVISION TOUR” in support of their new studio album Defy produced by Matt Good on Mascot Label Group. ‘Lifted’, the first single from the album eflects on past experiences of living an excessive lifestyle and previous tour shenanigans while other tracks on the album defines the bands perspective on both social and political climates.  The edgy lyrics, “I am not leaning to the left or right, I stand up straight to fight,” and “I have to scream cause I’m not white” encompasses a perspective the band has felt restricted to voice in the past.

Adrian Patrick [Lead Vocals] mentions, "We're currently living in very divisive & polarizing times, but what both sides of the aisle need to realize is that the left wing & the right wing are part of the same damn bird.. thankfully we still have the unifying power of rock n roll with the hope we can all learn to fly together."

The first leg of the tour begins in Fresno, CA on March 24 and wraps on April 10 in Phoenix. AZ. The Black Moods and Saul will support.  The Black Moods will provide main support with their top 30 single 'Whatcha Got'. Saul a great up and coming band currently climbing the chart with their top 40 single 'Trial By Fire' will open.  Tickets are available at OTHERWISEMUSIC.COM.

On November 8, Mascot Records globally released the band’s fourth studio album Defy. A little danger makes rock music memorable. The edges cut deep and hit just as hard as any hook does, leaving a mark forever. Tapping into the spirit of rebelliousness, OTHERWISE embrace those edges on Defy. The Las Vegas quartet—Adrian Patrick [lead vocals], Ryan Patrick [guitar, vocals], Nick Bedrosian [bass, vocals] and Joe Conner [drums]—push the boundaries of their signature style in terms of both songcraft and sonic experimentation alike.

“Rock ‘n’ roll was always meant to be dangerous,” Adrian proclaims. “We grew up in the last era where nineties bands were Soul Rebels. They stood for something. They didn’t conform. Since the greatest risks yield the greatest return, why play it safe? We decided to swing for the fucking fences this time. In between the last album and now, we changed everything. I had two sons, and it took their births for me to go, ‘Fuck it, we’ve got to shoot for the goddamned stars’.”

An impressive run thus far fortified a launchpad for them to shoot for the stars.
